Mis C18. Coursed rubble with parapet, moulded cornice, rusticated quoins;
architraves. Mansard pantile roof. 2½ storeys. Central dormer. 5 windows,
sashes with glazing bars. Doric pedimented door piece (engaged columns, triglyph
frieze). 6 panel door centre onces with trefoil heads, lower ones cross
patterned. Angled 2 storey bay to south with moulded gabled dormer above. Unusual
lead rainwaterhead with compass pattern to south-west on side of mid C19 extension.
Panelled interior shutters. Interior: hall has screen with 2 doors and a segmental
glazed fanlight with ogee tracery. Right-hand ground floor has mid C18 fireplace
and flanking display niche cupboards. Marble fireplace in 1st floor left-hand room.
