Late C17 with older origins on angle with Catherine Street. 2 1/2 storeys incorporating
various buildings. Rubble with slate roof and modern brick chimneys. Coped
verges to gables. Corner front has 2 windows, late C19 paired sashes in flush
moulded surrounds; central door with cut brackets to stone hood (also C19).
Gabled return to south has a 2 light mullion window in gable and a 1st floor 3
light mullion window with drips. 2 storey, 2 window extension with 2 and 3 light
ovolo mullion windows (ground floor formerly with a pair of 2 lights to left).
To rear (north-east side) stair turret in angle with extension.
Interior: staircase blocked off. Diamond stop door surrounds. Principal 1st
floor room has strap-work carving on lintel over lobby into room (see also No 13
Bath Street (qv)).
