ST 7748 SE FROME JUSTICE LANE

1010/5/359 Former Drying House

16.02.1983 II


Drying house. Circa early C19. Stone rubble. Restored conical plain tile roof with deep eaves. Circular on plan. Doorway with cambered brick arch and C20 glazed door. The original doors set one above the other on the north side have been converted to windows.
INTERIOR altered and floors inserted.
NOTE: The building was used for the drying of dyed cloth.
