Shown on 1774 maps, some mid-C19 remodelling. Three storied rendered corner house
with end pier strips, chamfered corner and Marley tile roof. One plus two windows,
plain sashes. Good mid-late C18 doorcase with swan-neck pediment broken for urn and
supported on heavily carved scroll brackets and panelled pilasters (copied from that
at Nos 13 and 14 Christchurch Street West, the Packhorse Inn); flush door with
crossed-arrows in overlight. Interesting circa 1800 shop front to Christchurch
Street West, corner and South Parade with dentil cornice and heavily carved fascia to
panelled piers.
