Circa 1820 altered later C19 in classical style. Ashlar. 2 storeys and attic.
5 windows the outer ones being late C19 2 storey square bays with flanking panelled
Ionic columns. Centre pair of sashes in moulded balustrated panels at window
intervals. Central portico with flat entablature on Ionic columns, frieze enriched
at corners, reeded panels to door. Interior: good period detail - encriched ceiling
cornices with fluted fans in corner of hall ceiling, segmental stair arch with
enriched soffits, shaped panels in doors with reeded surrounds. On 1st floor 2 reeded
fireplaces and 2 marble fireplaces. Stairs have cast-iron balusters with wrought iron
ornament and cut string. Concealed roof. Coach-house: contemporary, 2 storeys,
rendered with dressed rubble and side piers. Hipped slate roof. Wide segmental
opening and later double doors to right. Arched window on 1st floor to left with
flat 'Y'-pattern mullions, circular window to right and dove loft openings to right
of centre. Lean-to to left with 'Y'-pattern flat stone mullions.
