The pre-1697 house was remodelled circa 1800. 2 storeys, attic and basement.
Rubble on ashlar base. Ground floor cill string. Pantile roof with crested ridge.
Ashlar chimney (later), with moulded capping to left. 3 cross-glazed former sashes
with mid-Cl9 gabled pediments. 8 close spaced windows, glazing bar sashes in flush
ashlar surrounds with beaded edges, some blocked; left hand 1st floor window blind
(above ashlar wall projection, also with blind window, on ground floor). Central
6 panel door with marginally glazed overlight, simple architrave with circa 1830s
bracketted flat hood. Central cross wing to rear for stairs. Interior: mid-cl9
alterations include 2 small marble fireplaces on 1st floor. Stairs above 1st floor
said to be late C17; attics said to have 2 original panelled oak doors. (See also
