ST 7747 NE 10/434 GV


Dated 1863. Architect W J Willcox (according to "The Builder"). Set back, single
storey building of Gothic design. Rubble with ashlar dressings, tiled roof with 4
vents and crested ridge. 1 + 1 + 3 + 1 + 2 + 3 windows, lancets, mostly linked.
Central gable with sub-divided light and oculus. Unusual belfry to right of centre
with buttress and corbel arrangements below. Linked to No 3 (former
schoolmaster's house) by a covered passage..
