C18, altered mid-C19. 2½ storeys, rubble with gable end projecting into street
(forward from No 7). Quoins, traces of ground and 1st floor bands and a central
window. Pantile roof.
1 range of windows to gable end, block dressings, glazing bars on 1st floor. Doorway
to right with moudillioned cornice (C19) and ½-glazed door.
1 window return to right, on ground floor an C18 glazing bar sash window with simple
architrave and keystone, on 1st floor the window has edge-bead surround. Pitched
path in front.
Part of a pleasant group, Nos 6-15 Whittox Lane with No 21 (Melrose House) (qv).
