GV II

Maltings, and offices. Mid C19. Coursed rubble, dressed quoins, double roman tile roof. In 2 halves, double span roof,
gables to facade. To left, 4-storeys, 1-bay; to right, 3-storeys, 3-bays, semi-circular arch headed windows with
glazing bars in plain stone surrounds, emphasised keystones and imposts, bracketted sills, opening to fourth storey
half glazed with bell insert, central window of right half such larger than other openings. Broad semi-circular archway
to right with C20 glazing infill. 12-bay return to High Street, first and twelth bays stepped forward, stone mullion
windows of 2-lights and single light wooden casements in block surrounds, mostly blocked. Malthouse to left, rubble,
slate roof, C20 casements inserted.
