Dam containing hermit's cell, various grottoes, a tunnel, a staircase, and a ruined arch, masked by a fictive cliff.
C18. Rough hewn and random laid rock, mostly Tufa, forming picturesque grottoes and ruins. Vaulted hermit's Cell
approached from landing stage, contains stone seats and table, dam extends to sluice arrangement concealing subsiduary
grottoes and a tunnel. Romantic winding stairs to upper level. An unusually complete survival.
