Originally a pair of houses. Circa 1700. Limestone rubble, squared quoins, C20 pantile roof. Paired cottages, symmetrical facade. 2-storeys, single bay each, 3-light roll-moulded stone mullioned windows with angled drip moulds, except late C19 window to first floor of cottage to west. Square head stone architrave to each door opening, that to cottage to west moulded with floral boss above, and angled label, plank doors. Cottage to east has depressed 4-centred arch surround to fireplace on ground floor. Group value with Woodlands Farmhouse (qv). Undergoing considerable alteration at time of re-survey, 1983.
