Toll house, now house. Circa 1800. Limestone rubble, squared quoins, brick stack, sexpantile slate roof. Georgian
Gothick, modified. Single storey with basement at rear, 2-bays. Angular bay to front with one sash window, exposed sash
boxes to each side. Central pointed-arch doorway, blocked, more recent square-headed opening to left side, half glazed
door. Hipped roof divided into 3 sections at front, forming overhang to bay supported on scrolled iron brackets.
Chimneystack at roof apex. Flat roof extension to rear. Part of the Shepton Mallet Turnpike Trust.
