7/235 Whitstone House



House. Dated 1762. Doulting ashlar and render, slate roof. "U"-shaped on plan, gabled wing projecting at right angles
to facade each side. 2-storeys, 1:3:1 bays, sash windows with glazing bars in moulded stone architraves. Central door
opening, stone doorcase, flat entablature with triglyph frieze on three quarter columns, double half-glazed doors
reached by 3 steps. Moulded and dentilled cornice, plain parapet with coping to centre portion. Lead rainwater head and
downpipe on each angle dated "1782".
