2/293 Batch Farm House



Farmhouse. Circa 1800, for Ashwick Grove Estate. Rendered, slate roof, rendered stacks, coped verges. "T"-plan,
symmetrical facade. 2-storeys, 3-bays, sash windows with glazing bars in plain stone architraves. Central gabled porch
having doorway with semi- circular arch head, emphasised keystone and imposts, plank door. Carved gryphon on tablet
directly over. Wing at right angles to rear has reused 2-light ovolo moulded stone mullioned window.
