2/281 Pair of Cottages adjacent to
Stoke Mill


Pair of Cottages. Circa 1700. Doulting rubble, dressed quoins, modern pantile roof to right, remainder missing in
January 1983, central rubble stack with dressed quoins. Rectangular on plan. 2-storeys, 2-bays each, 2- and 3-light
stone mullioned windows in plain stone architraves, except cottage to right has doorway inserted in right bay. Central
doorways in identical surrounds, doors missing.
