GV II*

Manor house. Circa 1700. Doulting rubble, dressed quoins, eaves cornice, slate mansard roof running up to central brick
stack. Square on plan, symmetrical facade. 2-storeys, 5 bays, 2-light ovolo moulded stone mullioned windows, except
late C19 shop front with facia and dentilled cornice to right of central door. Door opening with edge roll moulded
architrave, late C19, 2-panelled door. Oval moulded stone opening above. Moulded stringcourse over ground floor
windows. Left return has 2-blocked doorways, and 3-blocked mullioned casements. Interior contains fine dogleg
staircase, splat balusters, moulded handrail.
