GV II

Gates, gate piers and flanking walls to forecourt of Mells Manor. Doulting piers of C17 made up of roughly dressed
blocks chamfered on their outer edges; moulded caps, tall pyramidal finials. Pair of oak gates in the fore of a open
latticework by Sir Edwin Lutyens, circa 1910. Rubble wall 3 metres high with dressed capping running 20 metres north
and 60 metres south. South end has door opening, oak door with turned decoration, again by Lutyens.
