New Street
(West side))


Tithe barn, now village hall. C14, remodelled and reroofed circa 1500. Rubble, plain tile roof. Rectangular with off
centred gabled projection to west; buttresses to east, obscured to west. 6-bays. Roof retains 3 upper crucks and the
embedded remains of a full cruck blade; evidence of windbraces. Details of remainder of roof obscured by C20 ceiling.
