Cottage. Early C19. Local limestone and Doulting rubble, slate roof, portion at right end of clay pantiles, 2 brick
stacks. Rectangular. 2-storeys, 5-bays, casements, majority with glazing bars, stone relieving arches over openings. 3
door openings; 2 to left in plain wooden surrounds, small wooden gabled hoods on brackets, plank doors; third opening
at right end, plank door. Pair of ashlar gate piers adjacent to left return; 3 metres high, plain cappings; iron
brackets for gates. All formerly attached to Fussell ironworks on this site.
