Gateway and wall. Circa 1857 by William Butterfield for the Duke of Somerset. Wall of limestone rubble with dressed
coping varying from one metre high in the South to 8 metres high in the North, where it acts as a retaining wall for
the churchyard. Gateway at South-eastern corner consists of pointed archway in ashlar surround, buttressed, coping
terminating in elaborate finial.
