3/214 Whatley Coombe House



Country house. Dated 1815. Bath stone ashlar, rusticated quoins, moulded cornice with parapet, slate roof 2 box
dormers, coped verges, ashlar end stacks. Symmetrical facade, Classical. 2-storeys, 3-bays, 16-pane sash windows in
reveals. Central semi-circular head door opening flanked by pilasters supporting open pediment on brackets, six
panelled door with radiating fanlight above. Rain water head with raised lettering:- 'I.S. 1815'. Single storey 2-bay
wing to right. Outshut to rear with catslide roof. Interior retains fireplaces, wood and plasterwork; also well
