(Four Gables) and forecourt wall

Cottage. C15, altered C17, considerable C20 external alterations. Coursed rubble, pantile roof, 2 brick stacks. Cross
passage plan. One storey and attic, 4 bays, casements with glazing bars, those to ground floor under wooden lintels,
those to first floor in half dormers. Door opening in third bay, C19 studded plank door, larger wooden lintel over.
Post and truss roof construction, a C15 cruck truss survives. Forecourt with a rubble wall (V.A.G. Report, unpublished
SRO, June 1980).
