Home Farm Farmhouse

Barn. C17 or earlier. Rubble Doulting stone with double Roman clay tiles and patent ridge tile to hipped roof. Single
storey, 7 bays, "T"-plan with later single bay extension to West under the same roof but with a first floor, reached by
external stone staircase. On South side, a projecting cart entrance with diagonal corner buttresses and a hipped roof.
Long vertical ventilation slits, with freestone quoins, splayed back on inside in both side walls and East gable wall.
"A" frame trusses with ties and collars, 2-purlins and diagonal windbraces.
