Lime kiln. C19. Large cylindrical structure 15 metres high of random rubble; opening at base giving onto a narrow opening one metre from the ground. Land rises steeply behind kiln. Chimney now blocked with rubble the only evidence
now a slight depression in the ground around the top of the kiln. One of a pair approximately 30 metres apart. One of the few early industrial remains in this once much-worked valley.
