Pair of cottages. Dated 1861 by T H Wyatt. Coursed rubble, flush dressed quoins, tile roof, half hipped to left, gabled to right adjoining a lower hipped section, 2 rubble stacks and former projecting stack to left of frontage, now truncated. Picturesque. One storey and attic, 1:1 bays, windows to first floor in gabled dormers being 3 light moulded stone mullioned windows, similar 4 light openings to ground floor under stopped labels. 2 door openings in plain stone surrounds, plank doors; semi circular stone hoods on cut stone brackets. Central recessed stone plaque to centre of first floor, raised stone lettering:- "WD 1861". Right return of one bay, two light mullioned windows, that to first floor in a gabled dormer. Part of Orchardlea estate.
