Farmhouse. Early C17 and C18, parts of fabric may be earlier. Random rubble Doulting stone with ashlar stone frontage
to south with coursed rubble plinth and weathered string courses at floor levels. Stone slate cross gabled roof with
ashlar stone chimney stacks, west stack with dovecot openings. 2-storeys and attic, complex plan resulting from
interlocking 2'L'-plan buildings, 3-window frontage with central entrance 2-light moulded stone mullion and transom
windows with casements. 4-panel door, top 2 panels glazed in moulded stone frame, once said to have had slate hood.
Return elevation to east; 3-window with blocked central moulded stone door frame with stone hood on curved brackets.
2-light moulded stone mullion and transom windows with casements. Western wing; 2-light plain chamfered stone
mullioned windows and 4-centred chamfered stone arch door frame. Outbuildings to west; random rubble stone, roofless -
once part thatch, 2-storey, L-plan. 2-light, plain chamfered stone mullion windows, similar to windows of the Falconry
(qv). Now in an advanced state of disrepair (December 1983).
