metres South of Church of St

Water Tower. C19. Coursed rubble Doulting stone with conical stone slate roof and Bath stone, crocketed finial.
Approximately 2.5 metres diameter, 5 metres high with 3 iron inspection plates and iron depth indicator mechanism. Fed
by river power driven pump from fresh water spring at NGR B0265763 via 50 mm cast iron pipe and used until recently to
distribute a domestic water supply to Farleigh Hungerford. Hydrant, cast iron column approximately 1 metre high with
fluted and domed top lion mask.
