Shawford Bridge over River Frome


Bridge. Circa 1752 for Black Dog Turnpike Trust. Rubble, some ashlar. Three semi-circular head arches with key stones;
ashlar parapets with copings; square ashlar piers to each side at each end. (O Bryan Mohand, An Introduction to The
