Part of a house, now wood store and unused. C15/C16. Rubble Doulting stone with triple Roman clay tiles to gabled
roof, with central ashlar stone chimney stack with moulded cap to right hand (north) gable. 2 storeys with one room on
each level, first reached by external stone steps. At ground floor level a stone mullioned and transomed wiwndow with
recessed chamfer moulding and splayed reveals, dripmould and semi-circular stone relieving arch over. Dripmould
extends to left and continues over blocked entrance door. At first floor a 3-light stone mullion window with recessed
chamfer moulding and dripmould. Ground floor with stone paving, plastered walls and a fine Doulting stone fireplace
surround with moulded flat arch and stop chamfer mouldings to jambs. At first floor another fine Doulting stone
fireplace surround similar to ground floor but smaller and with the moulded overmantel in place. 2-"A" frame roof
trusses with evidence that timbers have been reused from another structure.
