Farmhouse. Dated 1699. Coursed and squared rubble, slate roof, ashlar stacks, weather-cock with fretwork inscription
"IG 1722" is fixed to east gable. Three unit and cross passage plan with a later wing at right angles to rear. Two
storeys and attic, 4 bays, 3-light ovolo moulded stone mllioned windows to first floor under wooden lintols, 2 sash
window with glazing bars under wooden lintols to ground floor; 2 moulded 2-light staircase windows. Two door openings,
to left divided plank door with a glazed panel, to right a glazed door. Some chamfered and stopped ceiling beams;
fireplace with a broad chamfered wooden bressumer. Roof with tie beam trusses. Inscribed stone plaque on chimney ¨ICLG
1699'. (SSAVBRG report, unpublished SRO, October 1982).
