16/137 Yew Tree Farmhouse, wall and gates

Farmhouse. Dated:- "17 IK 86" on an inscribed stone plaque to centre of frontage. Modern roughcast, double Roman tile
roof, coped verges, end brick stacks. Two storeys and attic, 2 bays, flush mounted 16-pane sash windows; central
6-panelled door, top 2 panels glazed. Sundial to centre of frontage. Single bay outshut of lower height to right,
triple Roman tile roof, 2-light casements, door opening with a plank door; shop front to its right return of C19 of
6-lights, plank door. Rubble wall approximately one high at right-angle to right of frontage extending 20 m, paired
wrought and cast-iron gates with spear capping adjacent to the house; "slab" piers.
