House. C16-C17, modified late C19. Coursed and squared rubble, single Roman tile roof, 2 brick stacks. Cross passage
plan. Single storey and attic, 3 bays 2 and 3-light casements, horizontal glazing bars, 2 in half dormers. Central
door opening, plank door, wood lintol. Wing at right angles to rear, now outbuilding, probably formerly another
dwelling, remains of a large ridge stack. Room left of ground floor with moulded compartment ceiling; door opening with
4-centred head and remains of screen; fireplace in a massive freestone surround with deep lintol; room to right of
ground floor with 2 chamfered ceiling beams; former house at rear with remains of 4-centred head stone fireplace; 2
principals of cruck roof screen on first floor.
