Baptist chapel with school-room and minister's house; chapel and school room now an agricultural store, minister's
house now a dwelling. Datestone to centre of frontage:- "1836"; some C20 alteration. Coursed and squared rubble,
freestone dressings, hipped slate roofs. Austere frontage. Two storey, 2 bay chapel to centre, with a lower wing set
back on each side, 3:2 bays; sash windows with cambered and segmental heads, glazing bars, in plain stone architraves
with emphasised keys; except casements in plain architraves to dwelling. Central cambered head door opening to chapel,
plank door; cambered head door opening to dwelling, half-glazed door. Chapel with galleried interior; memorial; school
room with chimney-piece. Rubble forecourt wall ramped up to each side, dressed coping; section of spear-capped railings
to centre, gates, remains of wrought-iron standard lamp to right; part of forecourt wall to left demolished to form an
opening to Chapel Cottage.
