Farmhouse. Dated on doorcase 1861, probably marking a renovation; fabric and features appear late C18. Smooth rendered.
emphasised quoins, moulded stone eaves cornice, ashlar parapet with coping, coped verges, slate roof, end ashlar
stacks, 3 box dormers with 16-pane sash windows. Two storeys and attic, 3 bays, 16-pane sash windows in bead-moulded
freestone surrounds. Central door opening in stone architrave, 6-panelled door, hollow semi-circular stone hood on
brackets. Walled forecourt ramped down to form plinth for ornamental wrought-iron railings (Reid R.D., Some Buildings
of Mendip, 1979).
