8/189 Brook House

House. Dated on freestone panel to left return:- "1694", C19 alteration. Rubble, triple-Roman tile roof, coped verges,
brick stacks. Two storeys and attic, 1:1:2 bays, 2-light ovolo-mou1ded stone-mullioned windows, second bay in a gabled
stair-turret, window to gable face and a single-light window, labels to ground floor windows. C20 panelled door to
right of stair-turret. Blocked window to gable face on right return. Single-storeyed outshut at rear. Interior with
door opening in a moulded freestone surround; fireplace with moulded stone jambs, mid C20 lintel; winder staircase.
