14/233 Charterhouse and attatched barn to

(Marked on 0.S. map as Windy Farm). Farmhouse, now house. C17. Rubble, coped verges, double-Roman tile roof, Cl9 brick
stacks with freestone dressings. L-plan. Two storeys and attic, 2:1-bays, 2-light moulded stone-mullioned windows, some
restored, with cornice drips. Door opening in trio angle between the 2 wings, C20 door, C19 tiled pent on a wooden
bracket. In outer gable wall a blank 4-keyed oval window with cornice drip. Attached barn to east, asbestos slate roof.
Two door openings on ground floor, cambered heads, freestone surrounds, plank doors, 4 window openings, casements in
freestone surrounds.
