ST35SE BADGWORTH CP CHURCH LANE (East side)

4/94 School House

-

School-house, now house, Mid C19. Coursed and squared rubble, 2 brick ridge stacks with paired decorative hexagonal
chimney pots, triple Roman tile roof. Domestic Revival. One storey and attic, 1:1 bays, that to left of first floor
under a gable, 2-light chamfered stone mullioned windows under stopped labels, diamond paned leaded lights. Door
opening between the bays, ribbed plank door; large projecting gabled hood, triple Roman tile roof, supported on wooden
brackets with fretwork decoration. Right return of 1 bay, 2 light chamfered stone mullioned window to first floor,
similar 3 light opening to ground floor, both with leaded lights. Single storey addition to left not included.
