Pair of gate piers. Early C17. Ashlar. Tall square-section piers with moulded cornices and carved bases for finials. fit
the front and rear face of each pier is an engaged pilaster with pedestal and capital; the capitals have egg and dart
ornament and crude Ionic volutes.
