Lodge to Halswell House (qv), on roadside. Early C19. Rendered, hipped thatch roof with deep eaves resting on rustic
poles forming a verandah. T-plan, picturesque cottage ornee style. Diamond paned casements with leaded lights. Plain
square-headed door opening, plank door. Important roadside feature.
