GV II

House. C16 core, extended mid C18. Flemish bond brick and cob, some smooth render, some roughcast, tile roofs, single
coped verge, brick stacks. Irregular U-shaped frontage enclosing cobbled forecourt. Two storeys and attics; 4 bays to
centre; 2 and 4 bays to left and right wings respectively, windows only on first floor, right wing with traces of
blocked ground floor windows; sash windows with glazing bars, flush mounted, exposed sash boxes, one 2-light casement
on first floor. Two door openings; to centre half-glazed door, to right wing three-quarter glazed door, hood on
scrolled wrought-iron brackets. Returns and rear in conforming style. Interior with plaster frieze on ground floor of
right wing, fireplace with good ornamental chimneypiece; some rooms with window shutters. (VAG Report, unpublished SRO,
