6/31 The Old Rectory
- II

(Marked on OS map as Rectory). Rectory, now house. C16/C17, substantially
remodelled early C19. Roughcast, triple-Roman tile roof, brick stacks. Gothick.
Two storeys and attic, 3 bays, 2-light casements with ornamental glazing bars;
single storey canted bay window to right of ground floor; attic with a gabled
dormer and a half dormer, tiled copings to verges. Door opening virtually
central, pair of half-glazed Gothick doors, ornamental porch with single pitch
roof. Interior with moulded cornice to right of ground floor; some panelled
doors; retains of large wooden bressumer of a former fireplace in hall
