Railings and gates. Early/mid C19. Cast and wrought iron. Railings on brick
plinths with freestone cappings. Gothic style. Central gateway with cast-iron
piers and large floral finials, inset panelling with lettering: "VIA PACIS",
raised lettering to bases: "COALBROOKDALE". Ornamental gates with spear capping.
Section of railings to each side with cruciform finials, to left a secondary
"kissing gate". Included primarily for group value with Church of St Peter.
