Cockpit. C17. Rubble, some coursed and squared, remains of some external plastering,
three 2-stage buttresses, and further later buttress conical thatched roof. Circular
on plan. Plain exterior without openings except wide full-height door opening to north-
east, C19 door inserted. Interior formerly galleried, flagstone floor; complex roof
structure appears to retain C17 work. (VAG Report, unpublished SRO).
