Gothic house, dated 1860 on rainwater head. 3 storeys. Brown brick with ashlar
dressings. Cornice enriched with paterae, and parapet. Carved gargoyle to right.
Ashlar sill bands, window surrounds and patterned voussoirs. 5 windows. Single
lancets, mostly grouped in 2s and 3s. Oriel to right on 1st floor with ball-flower
cornice and floriated finial. Entrance under pointed archway with dripmould to
left. Original door with trefoils and strapwork hinges. Later shopfront to right.

Nos 41 to 55 (odd) form a group.
