Front faces on to Vivary Park. Said to have been "modernised" in 1794. Externally
the house appears to date from early/mid C19, with alterations. 2 storeys. Whitewashed
roughcast. Hipped slate roof with projecting eaves on brackets, part comes forward
in middle over projecting 2-storey verandah. 1 dormer with double wood casements.
Assortment of windows to 1st floor with 2 large sashes, glazing bars to left and
right. French windows to trellised verandah at 1st floor level. Ground floor has
overall lean-to roof with slates. Street front has good round headed doorway with
architrave surround and vermiculated keystone. Traceried fanlight and 6-panel
door.

All the listed buildings in Mount Street form a group together with the School.
Unitarian Chapel, the Lawn and Mary Street House, Mary Street, the listed buildings
in Vivary Park, Wilton House in Hammets Walk and Nos 1 to 14 (consec) Upper High
Street.
