Summerhouse in grounds
of St Joseph's Convent
ST 2224 SW 14/7A
Probably contemporary with the Gothic additions to the house by J A Hansom (180J-82).
Red and white brick with steeply pitched slate roof. Gables with stone cappings,
saddle-stones and kneelers to west. The east side has a crucifix at apex and diagonal
buttresses with stone pinnacles. Large pointed archway with dripmould and headstops.
Open scissor roof inside.

St Joseph's Convent, Summerhouse in grounds, and stone walls to the grounds form
a group.
