(North-East Side)
ST 22 NW 1/146
A large Georgian house now in the grounds of Taunton School. 3 storey stucco south
front with pilasters. Hipped slate roofs. Cornice and blocking course. 7 windows,
sashes with glazing bars. Pediment on entrance front has date 1844. The stucco
and alterations probably date from this period when the house was converted to
use as part of Taunton School (founded 1847). Doorway with rusticated surround
on north side.

Fairwater and Taunton School form a group.
