A single red brick building with similar detail to the houses in the Crescent to
the north. Circa 1800. 2 storeys plus attics and basements. Mansard roof with
4 dormers. Cornice and parapet. 6 windows (blocked window in centre with terra
cotta panels). Sashes with glazing bars. Round headed doorways with recessed
arch-rings, traceried fanlights and double doors.

Temple Methodist Church and Schools, and Nos 42 & 43 form a group.
