Probably C18, altered since. At right angles to street. 2 storey roughcast front
to street. Fluted eaves band. Curved gable end parapets. Slate roof, swept
towards eaves. 3 windows with plain surrounds and sill blocks. Sashes without
glazing bars. Side elevation has a solid Tuscan porch with double doors.

No 41 together with No l Mantle Street, gatepiers gates and railings, the former
coach house and garden wall at No 1, and No 3 Mantle Street form a group.
