(North West Side)
No 71
ST 1420 2/29 25.1.51.
2 storey 3 window roughcast front, circa 1820 or 1830. Shows Greek Revival influence.
Wide eaves with brackets. Central pedimented gable. End pilasters. Good doorway
with fluted Tuscan columns and similar pilasters. Rectangular fanlight with diagonal
glazing bars. Side facing churchyard is 3 window with similar pilaster treatment.

No 71, Church of St John the Baptist and Gatepiers and gates at churchyard
entrance form a group.
